Makeup Application 101
First cleanse, tone, and moisturize your face with the right products for your skin type.
When the moisturizer dries u can then start applying your foundation.
When the moisturizer dries u can then start applying your foundation.
Foundation-
Using either a makeup sponge or foundation brush.. dab the foundation onto the forehead, nose, chin, and cheeks.
Make sure u spread it throughout the face evenly. Blend well into the hairline and down to the neck so u don't get a masked look.

Need more coverage on certain spots?
Take your concealer and a small concealer brush.. apply it to the spots where needed and blend.
(concealer should be half a shade to a shade lighter than your skintone)
If u don't have a concealer brush u can always use a qtip or your fingers.. then take your sponge to blend it in.
Set your foundation with either a translucent powder or 1 that matches your skintone using a powder brush or powder puff.

Don't like having that much makeup on your face?
You can either:
1. Skip the foundation and just apply your concealer where it's needed.
Then brush on a powder that matches your skin tone.
or
2. Apply a tinted moisturizer.

Eyeshadow-
Using either a sponge tip applicator or an eyeshadow brush.. take the eyeshadow of your choice and sweep the color across the lid.. going no further than the crease of your eye.

If u want to go for the full effect.. pick out 3 shadows...
1. A medium color for the lid.
2. A darker color for the crease.
3. A light color for your highlight.
Apply your medium color across the lid.. inner corner to outer corner.. up to the crease.
Take your darker color and sweep it from the outer corner of your eye into your crease.
(so it should be darkest on the outside of the crease and lightening up as u go inward)
Now take your highlight and apply it to the brow bone.
Make sure all the colors are blended well into each other.

Tip: If u get alot of fallout when applying your shadow..
1. Dust a loose powder under the eyes b4 applying your eyeshadow.
(the fallout will cling to the powder)
Then once your shadow is applied.. brush off the loose powder.
or
2. Do your eyeshadow b4 your foundation. U'll find it easier to clean up the fallout this way than having to go back to fix your foundation.
Eyeliner and Mascara-
Take an eyeliner and get as close to your lashes as possible. Draw a thin, even line starting from either the inner corner and making your way out.. or outer corner making your way in.
The line should be thinnest on the inner corner becoming slightly thicker towards the end.
You can line your top lid above your lashes.. underneath your lower lashes.. or inside your lower water line.
Tip: If your pencil liner isn't running smoothly try heating it up with your blow dryer for a few seconds.
Now after u've applied your liner get out your mascara. Place the wand at the base of the lashes and wiggle the brush lightly from side to side as u make your way to the tips. This helps the lashes get an even coverage and a fuller look.

Got Clumps?
Take a lash comb and comb them out.
(Curl your lashes with an eyelash curler.. if needed.. b4 applying your mascara.)

Blush-
Apply blush to your blush brush and tap off any excess powder. Start at the apple of your cheek and follow your cheekbone.. working your way up and out towards the hairline. Make sure it's blended well.
